The 2025 4th qtr. tax installment is due November 1, 2025. The grace period for payment ends on 11/10/2025.  All payments received after closing on 11/10/2025 will accrue interest from 11/1/2025. For your convenience, payments can be made at www.southorange.org, sent by mail, or left inside our secure drop box near the Village Tax office door on the third floor at 76 South Orange Ave. Cash payments are not accepted in the drop box.  Feel free to call our office with any questions. 973-378-7715 Ext 4. 

Taxes can be verified and paid 24 hours per day at southorange.org/302.

• To view tax/sewer balances search the Tax Look-up section.
• To pay taxes and sewer balances, select the payment tab options above the Tax Look-up section on the same page.

Before making a tax payment, please also check to see if you have a sewer balance.
