HOW TO JOIN A ZOOM EVENT
How to join a South Orange Village Zoom meeting.
The general way to join a village zoom meeting is to go to the calendar listing on the village website and click or copy the link for the specific meeting you wish to attend.
Attendees can also join from Zoom.com. Click on the down arrow next to meet at the top of the screen and click join a meeting then enter the specific Zoom meeting number.

- You do not need a Zoom account to join public Zoom Webinars or Meetings as an attendee. If the host invites you to their event as a guest, you can join without creating or signing in to an account by using your email address.
- Which Browser should I use for a Zoom meeting?
- Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. You can also use Safari. As with all browsers it is important that you are running the latest available version, this is especially true for Safari.
- I have tried to join a meeting but am having an issue. What should I do?
- Unfortunately, there are many reasons that an individual device may have an issue joining a meeting, most of which are user-specific. The first and most common troubleshooting step is to reboot your device.

- On Mac devices, click the Apple menu in the top left and choose “Restart.”

- Within your meeting, click on the Hand button on the menu panel.
- A hand will appear on the screen and next to your name in the Participant list. The host will then see that you have your hand raised and can invite you to speak.
