Take advantage of a free opportunity to reduce your risk of some health problems. The South Orange Health Department will hold its 12th Annual Free Health Fair on Saturday, Sept. 8th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South Orange Fire House, located at 56 Sloan Street.
No-cost health screenings and informational tables will include:
Eye screening, hearing screening, Himalayan bowls (relaxation, pain relief, and stress reduction), lung capacity testing, blood donations, spinal screening, face painting for children, balloons for children, osteoporosis screening, stroke risk assessment includes (blood pressure, glucose, total cholesterol, HDL , triglycerides, and LDL screening (capillary), Reiki, child identification kit (dental x-ray, photograph, finger print, and write-up), lead screening for children (capillary), Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), and facial skin screening. There will also be educational handouts, poison education and nutrition education.
