Pierro Gallery Grand OpeningThe Grand Re-opening of the Pierro Gallery will take place on Wednesday, April 17th from 6:30-8:30 pm at The Baird Community Center, 5 Mead St. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the Gallery's inaugural exhibition, featuring a curated selection of artwork by local South Orange artists. The event will also feature live music, refreshments, and opportunities to meet and mingle with the artists. Admission is free, and all are welcome to join in the celebration.

Baird Grand OpeningJoin us for the South Orange Baseball Parade from 9-10 am followed by a ribbon cutting and Grand Opening of the Baird Recreation Center from 10 am-1 pm. Explore the building, sign up for classes & activities! There will be music, food & inflatables too!

Public Works Events Metal Pickup: Tuesday, April 16 DPW will pickup metal recyclables for residents who have prescheduled and paid for this service. There is 6 item limit for this pickup. Metal Pickup Form Household Bulk Pickup: Thursday, April 18 DPW will collect household bulk items with the exception of metal and electronics for residents who have prescheduled and paid for this service. There is 6 item limit for this pickup. Bulk Pickup Form Container Day: Saturday, April 20, 8 AM; 300 Walton Ave South Orange residents are welcome to drop off household bulk items at the Public Works facility between 8 AM and 1:30 PM. Proof of residency is required and no commercial vehicles (U-Haul's/ Home Depot rental vans) are permitted on the property. Electronics, construction material, and hazardous waste will not be accepted at these events.
