Showcasing South Orange

Celebrating 30 Years of Artistic Excellence at the Pierro Gallery

With immense pride and appreciation, we mark thirty years of creativity, inspiration, and community at the Pierro Gallery. This significant milestone honors the Gallery's journey from its inception to the present day and anticipates the exciting opportunities that await us in the future.

The inaugural exhibition proudly showcases the talents of the South Orange artist community. Recognizing local art not only celebrates creativity and skill but also invests in the cultural and social vibrancy of South Orange. By endorsing and fostering regional artistry, we aim to enhance residents' lives, forge stronger community ties, and cultivate a more dynamic and inspired Village.

The Gallery was founded in 1994 and officially named the Pierro Gallery of South Orange in 2001, in honor of the late Lennie Pierro. He co-founded the Gallery with his wife Judy Wukitsch and was recognized for his impact and advocacy of the arts in the Village. Pierro, who was a fine artist, long-time resident of South Orange and an active member of the community, sought to bring fine art to his town as a co-operative effort between the Village, residents and artists.

Let us honor our past, celebrate our present, and embrace the creative prospects that lie ahead. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dear community for being a part of the Pierro Gallery's remarkable journey.
