Election Day

Remember to vote on Tuesday, November 5 in the General Election. Polls will be open from 6 am until 8 pm. You can find your polling location here. PLEASE NOTE- the Baird polling location (districts 6 & 8) has been relocated to South Orange Middle School. If you have any questions, please contact the Clerk's office at 973-378-7715 x1.

Civic Engagement Institute Schools Showcase

The Civic Engagement committee is hosting a Community Engagement Schools Showcase on Thursday November 7 at 7 pm at The Woodland in Maplewood, and on Saturday, November 23 at 10 am at the South Orange Library. The objective is to inform and to inspire SOMA residents, especially those from groups that are frequently underrepresented as volunteers, to get actively involved with improving our local schools. Want to get more involved in your community? Attend a meeting. You will get a first-hand look at all the ins and outs of our town and it is a great way to participate and make a difference in the town.
