Final Week for Leaf Pickup

Wednesday, Dec 5 marks the last day of leaf pickup season. Please make sure your leaves are raked curbside no later than Wednesday for removal. Residents with leaves raked past Wednesday may result in violation. If you have any questions, please contact Public Works at 973-378-7741.

Last Chance for Coat & Toy Donations

The last day the Village will be accepting donations for the Coat & Toy Drive will be Dec. 7. Please consider donating a new, unwrapped toy or a gently worn coat to any of our drop off locations. All donations will go to Seton Hall's DOVE foundation.
Drop off locations are:
Village Clerk's office - 76 South Orange Ave Suite 302
The Baird - 5 Mead St
The UPS Store - 4 South Orange Ave

Hometown Holiday

Join us on Saturday, Dec. 8 for Hometown Holiday. Our annual celebration kicks off with Santa at the firehouse taking pictures with the kids! Santa will be there with his elves from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Then, at 5 PM, the trio will lead all our little elves (your kids) in an Elf Parade up South Orange Avenue, where the annual tree lighting ceremony will take place at 5:15 PM at the PNC Bank Building (76 South Orange Ave). There will be live music and a dance performance by Maria Priadka School of Dance, cookies and hot chocolate, and fun will be had by all! Hometown Holiday is graciously sponsored by The Lichtman-Rabney Group at Hearth Realty Group and is produced by SOVCA along with our good friends from the Baird.

Attend a Town Meeting

Want to get more involved in your community? Attend a meeting. You will get a first-hand look at all the ins and outs of our town and it is a great way to participate and make a difference in the town.
