SO Golf Invitational

Join us for a Golf Outing to benefit the South Orange Rescue Squad! The benefit will be held on Monday, Sept 17 at East Orange Golf Course located at 440 Parsonage Hill Rd, Short Hills. Event will start at 12:30 PM. To register, please visit http://www.so-invitational.com

Newcomers Day

Are you new to South Orange and want to meet your neighbors and get acquainted with your new home town? Come be a part of our annual Newcomers Day on Sunday, Sept 23! This is a great opportunity to meet local elected officials and Village staff and to become familiar with all of the amenities and resources South Orange has to offer. This event will be held from 2 – 4 PM at the South Orange Public Library, located at 65 Scotland Road. We have reserved the Library’s parking lot for attendees.

Road Work Around Town

The curb, sidewalk and drainage work on Tichenor Ave has been rescheduled to start the week of the 24th. The work will be from 7 AM to 4 PM and is planned to take 2 months, weather permitting.

If you need to park overnight on the roadway, please contact the South Orange Police Department at 973-763-3000 or the Parking Authority at 973-378-7715 x 2037 and inform them that there is roadwork on your street. Find out more information.
