Stay & Play Weekend

Join us Friday through Sunday for Stay & Play Weekend!
Friday, Sept 14 is the Community Campout at New Waterlands Park. The event is free but you must be registered by Tuesday Sept 11. Visit the Baird or email the Recreation Department to register.
Saturday, Sept 15 is the 19th Century Baseball Game at Cameron Field at 12 PM.
Sunday, Sept 16 is PlayDay. Join us at South Orange Ave from 1-6 PM for tons of great events like fitness activities, inflatables, live music and more!

Bicycle Auction

In need of a bike? Join us at Police Headquarters at 201 South Orange Ave on Saturday, Sept 15 at 10 AM for a bicycle auction. Found and unclaimed bicycles will be sold “as is” and can be purchased by cash or check.

Seeing Red

The Walsh Gallery at Seton Hall University presents “Seeing Red”. This exhibit examines the many artistic, cultural, political, and religious connotations of the color red. 
Opening Reception will be Thursday, Sept 14 at 5 PM. There will also be guided tours with the curators held on Saturday, Oct 20 at 1 PM.

  • Transportation Committee Meeting on Wednesday, Sept 12 at 7:30 PM at the municipal offices
  • Recreation & Cultural Affairs Committee Meeting on Thursday, Sept 13 at 8 AM at the Baird
  • Board of Trustees Meeting on Thursday, Sept 13 at 7:15 PM at the Baird
  • Historic Preservation Commission Meeting on Thursday, Sept 13 at 7:30 PM in the municipal offices
