OLS Food Drive
The holiday season is our busiest time, and we expect even greater demand this year considering SNAP benefits will not be issued on Nov.1. Each Saturday, we provide groceries—including fresh produce and milk—to over 250 families. For the holidays, we’re preparing to serve more than 300 families at Thanksgiving and again at Christmas.
During Thanksgiving and Christmas, we receive many inquiries about giving. See our flyer attached for those wishing to support the OLS Food Pantry this season. Because of limited storage, we cannot accept turkeys, but we do provide extra fresh produce and specialty foods. The best way to help is by making a monetary donation as outlined on the flyer. If you prefer to donate food, the flyer also lists our most-needed items, spices, and treats for holiday distribution. To make an online donation to fresh produce: givebutter.com/OLSProduceDrive
As Thanksgiving approaches, we’re deeply grateful for our community’s steadfast support. Every contribution—of time or resources—means so much. If you’d like to volunteer, watch for our Sign Up Genius emails—there are plenty of ways for you and your teens to help!
