Skate House Sessions continue final concert
WEDNESDAY June 25 with the
The Hay Burners

Bring a blanket or a lawn chair and enjoy for the sweet sounds of early summer in Meadowland Park!

The Hay Burners play an energetic combination of old time country, blues and jazz, featuring rootsy reimagining's of 80s rock and pop hits alongside century-old folk tunes and standards.

Wine and beer available for purchase to those with valid ID and delicious food from the Baird Cafe. Music begins at 6:30pm and runs approximately 90 minutes. Skate House Sessions season is generously sponsored by Natalie Farrell realtor.

Food, games, art, music, movies — Star Spangled South Orange has something for everyone!

It’s time for our biggest and best new tradition on Flood’s Hill! The Meadowland Park Conservancy, along with South Orange Village, is once again bringing a star spangled extravaganza to town for every family to enjoy.

The fun starts at 5pm, Sloppy Joe Eating Contest: 7pm, South Orange Symphony: 7:45pm, movie starts at sundown.

Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to cheer on the contestants in the return of the Town Hall Deli Sloppy Joe Eating Contest…enjoy dance performances from Studio 509, SOMA Dance Mob and Concepts Dance Academy, listen to the beautiful sounds of the South Orange Symphony Orchestra performing Americana favorites…and watch the classic film “A League of Their Own” on the big screen.

Plus food and ice cream trucks, games and sports from the South Mountain Y, art projects from PopBlossom Studio, a beer garden for those 21 and over and an SEFD fire truck and SORS ambulance to explore. It’s all free and it’s all for you!
