MPC Dance fest

Call for Local Dancers

Have a young choreographer in your household who could use a healthy challenge? Maybe you used to dance and would love to put something together with some dancer friends? JOIN OUR MEADOWLAND PARK CHOREOGRAPHY CHALLENGE! It's completely free as long as you show up to perform. You have five months to create your 2-3 minute piece! Register by April 13!

Deconstructing Racism Workshop Part II- Mondays throughout March @ CHS, 7-9 pm
Discussions on how white supremacist ideology has impacted people of color and how it has negatively impacted white people, limiting our nation’s evolution and advancement. Then we’ll focus on the various ways white supremacy, and its affiliated racism, can be disrupted and deconstructed through individual, group, government and national endeavors.
Own It! Roadmap to Homeownership- Mar 13 @ the Baird, 7-9 pm
This informative session will cover essential topics such as how to secure a loan, understanding the homebuying process, and tips for navigating the housing market.

SOPAC event

Andy McKee at SOPAC

Join us on March 14 at 7:30 PM as SOPAC welcomes the Mainstage debut of internationally acclaimed guitarist and composer Andy McKee. A master of melody and phrasing, McKee transforms the steel string guitar into a full orchestra, using altered tunings, tapping, partial capos, percussive hits, and his signature two-handed technique. One lucky patron will receive a SHUBB capo signed by Andy! VIP ticket holders unlock access to a post-event Meet & Greet and photo op in the SOPAC Loft. This event is co-presented with NJPAC Productions.

YouthNet Board Recruit
YouthNet is recruiting new board members to join our organization. We are a local 501(c)(3) whose programs support students at MMS, SOMS, CHS and throughout the SOMA community. 
Our Mission is to build a community where young people in MAPSO develop a sense of belonging, find inspiration, fulfill their potential and achieve success.
