Public Works Events Leaf season: October 28 - December 9 During Leaf Season residents are permitted to rake leaves into the street for removal. Please adhere to the guidelines and follow the "Leaf Map" under "Map Layers" for pickup accuracy.

Holiday Jewelry Sale The Friends of SOPL Holiday Jewelry Sale will be held on Saturday, November 16 from 10 AM to 5 PM and Sunday, November 17 from 1 to 4 PM at the Baird and will feature a huge selection of jewelry, including hundreds of pieces of fine jewelry, designer jewelry, sterling silver pieces, brand names, precious stones, vintage pieces, earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets, pendants, brooches, men's cufflinks, watches, accessories, and much more, all priced to sell. The sale will also feature quality costume jewelry at very reasonable prices.

Public Works Events Electronic Recycling: Saturday, Nov. 16; 8 AM-noon South Orange and Maplewood residents are welcome to access the recycling facility at 300 Walton Ave to dispose of e-waste (electronic) items. Accepted items can be found here.
