Summer Yoga 2024

Summer Yoga Saturdays

Free outdoor yoga classes are returning to Seton Village this summer. Classes will be located on the front lawn at 133 Fairview Ave, South Orange. Visit the events page for schedule details and more information. 

Pride Under the Stars

Pride Under The Stars returns to Spiotta Park on Friday, June 14 at 8 PM (rain date 6/21). Join North Jersey Pride, South Orange Downtown & South Orange Village for an unforgettable PRIDE celebration. This 21+ event hosted by the fabulous Honey Marie will feature beats by DJ Sanchico and a cash bar. 
While admission is free, we encourage attendees to consider making a donation to North Jersey Pride at the event. North Jersey Pride, Inc. is a 501(c)3 dedicated to supporting LGBTQ youth and families through programming and events in the Garden State.

Cornhole Classic 2024

Cornhole Classic

It's time to get tossing, SOMA! Registration is now open for the 4th annual South Orange Cornhole Classic in #meadowlandparknj on June 15t at 2:30 PM. 32 teams vying for glory, prizes and the chance to shove it in the face of everyone who said you could never play a sport. Beer garden for those over 21 and delicious food, too. Advanced registration is required.

Public Works Events
Container Day: Sat., June 15, 8 AM; 300 Walton Ave
South Orange residents are welcome to drop off household bulk items at the Public Works facility between 8 AM and 1:30 PM. Proof of residency is required and no commercial vehicles (U-Haul's/ Home Depot rental vans) are permitted on the property. Electronics, construction material, and hazardous waste will not be accepted at these events.
