Undercover Music FestSouth Orange Downtown’s signature event, Under Cover Music Fest returns Sat June 1 from 2-10 PM to the Sloan Street Parking Lot. Rain Date: June 2 12PM-8PM.
This year there's even more great music to enjoy as NINE cover bands will take the stage. In addition to the music, there will be food and drinks available for purchase from local eateries plus a ticketed beer garden.
This family friendly event will have kids activities in the Y-Zone from 2-6pm courtesy of the South Mountain YMCA and also new this year, an exclusive VIP area with tents available for purchase. |

Free Rabies Vaccine Clinic
If your dog or cat is due for a rabies vaccination, join us for the Free Rabies Vaccination Clinic, Sunday, June 2nd, 11 AM-1 PM at the South Essex Fire Department Headquarters, 56 Sloan St., South Orange. Walk ups are welcome! Please have dogs on a leash and cats in carriers. |

Watershed Literary EventsWatershed Literary Events presents a reading by poets Arthur Russell and Jennifer Poteet. The event takes place on Sunday, June 2 at 3 pm, at the Skate House and is sponsored by the town’s Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs and the Meadowland Park Conservancy. In addition to reading from their work, the authors will speak about their experiences publishing chapbooks, a shorter version of a poetry book that offers greater focus and intimacy than a full-length collection. All Watershed events are free and open to the public. |
