Explore Newark’s Ironbound neighborhood with a local resident, urban planner and foodie as we stop in at four unique venues. Rated 5 stars on TripAdvisor.

Downtown Mural Tour

We’ll visit about ten murals that are part of the Newark Artist Collaboration and discuss the history of Newark’s North End as well as historic Harriet Tubman Square.

Length: about 90 minutes

Increasing Older Adult Access to SNAP: 

According to the AARP Public Policy Institute, just 29% of adults over age 60 who are eligible for SNAP participate in the program. AARP Foundation collaborated with Social Policy Research Associates to learn more.
