Call For Art Entries!

The Pierro Gallery, a facility of the South Orange Recreation and Cultural Affairs Center at The Baird, presents curated exhibitions of work by diverse established and emerging visual artists. We're THRILLED to announce our open call for submissions for our first gallery show. This particular Spring 2024 show is Showcasing South Orange Artists and is limited to residents of South Orange only. Whether you paint, draw, sculpt, photograph, or create in any other medium, we encourage you to submit your work for consideration. The Pierro Gallery strives to be an inclusive space that exhibits artists of all mediums and styles.

Public Works Events

Christmas Tree Pick up: Tuesdays; Jan 2 - Jan 31
Christmas trees will be picked up from the curb beginning the first full week of January. Trees must be free of ornaments, lighting, wire, decorations, plastic wrap or tree stands. No wreaths or other holiday decorations will be collected.

Co-Lab at South Orange Ribbon Cutting

Please join us on Saturday, February 3 at 11am for a special ribbon cutting ceremony to welcome The Co-Lab at South Orange (57 South Orange Ave.) to South Orange Downtown. The Co-Lab at South Orange is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that supports local entrepreneurs and creatives launching their brick-and-mortar businesses in downtown South Orange. Current member shops include: Cereal Dreams, Dailygreatness, Gra, Noble Hungers and South Orange Wheelhouse.
