Recycling is changing for Maplewood and South Orange on JANUARY 1st 2023.

For South Orange:
New dual-stream recycling starts this week with a pick up for FIBERS (cardboard/paper) only. Details:

SOUTHORANGE.ORG
Recycling | South Orange Village, NJ
Recycling uses less energy, creating fewer toxins and reducing our carbon footprint. South Orange has curbside single-stream recycling pick up for residents as well as the option to bring various pre-sorted recyclables to the DPW Recycling Center at 300 Walton Avenue.

Please check the town websites for specifics and to find what day you have pick up and for what. It will all start to make sense after a couple of weeks!
