Maplewood Art Walk and Music Fest, 11 am to 5 pm Free Every fall, Maplewood Village is host to the annual Art Walk and Music Fest. This family-friendly celebration of art and music takes place on the streets of Maplewood Village.
Join us for a full day of art, music, and fun as professional artists set up on the streets, alongside musicians and bands, merchants, and children’s activities. It’s the perfect time to acquire some new art, ceramics, or handcrafted jewelry, browse in our local shops, and sample our local eateries while enjoying live music.

South Essex Fire Department Celebration, 1 PM - 4 PM. 56 Sloan St, South Orange, Join South Orange and Maplewood for a community celebration of the newly-merged South Essex Fire Department which coincides with the first day of Fire Prevention Week - celebrating its 100th anniversary. Come meet our firefighters and enjoy complimentary food, ice, cream, music, inflatables, crafts, corn hole, lots of giveaways, fire safety demonstrations, station house tours, and pictures on the fire engines and ladders trucks! The formal ceremony and swearing-in of new firefighters will begin at 2:30 p.m. We will have many special guests! *This is a free event*

Tuesday October 18 2022 Annual Essex County Senior Wellness Day,10 am to 2 pm Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. and the Board of County Commissioners invite all Essex County senior citizens to attend the Annual Essex County Senior Wellness Day on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 in the Essex County Richard J. Codey Arena, 560 Northfield Ave., West Orange, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This free event will provide health screenings, valuable information, musical entertainment, farmers market (bagged produce), and Free Admission to Turtle Back Zoo for all seniors plus more.More events coming soon!
