Please join us for Community Day (formerly Newcomers Day) where you can meet your neighbors, spend time speaking with the municipal departments and elected officials and visit and sign up to volunteer for some fabulous organizations and/or committees. We encourage all residents to bring their families, their neighbors, or bring a friend!

Free Pet Vaccine Clinic

Sponsored by St. Hubert's, in partnership with Maplewood and South Orange Townships, there will be a free vaccination clinic for cats and dogs on Saturday, October 1, 10AM - 2 PM at the Duck Pond located at 333 Beech Spring Rd in South Orange.
No registration is required. Dogs must be leashed and cats contained in carriers. For questions, please call 973-377-2295.

SOPL Events

Pop-Up Jewelry Sale: The Friends of SOPL will be holding a series of pop-up jewelry sales on Thursdays throughout September. On September 8, 15, 22 and 29 from 2-6 PM, the sale will be located at SOPL with all proceeds going to the library and all jewelry being donated by the community.

Seton Village's Gather Celebration

South Orange Village, Seton Village Neighborhood Preservation Program (NPP), Essex County Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), and New Jersey Department of Community Affairs are pleased to announce building upgrades to the Vincent Monella Community Center at 133 Fairview Avenue in South Orange.
We are thrilled to partner with the Community Coalition on Race to celebrate building improvements as well as the CCR community public art program that led to the “Gather” installation. The Gather Celebration will be held on Saturday, October 1, 1 PM - 3 PM at 133 Fairview Ave.
