South Orange Downtown Events

Join us for the South Orange Downtown Open-Air Holiday Market! The Sloan Street parking lot will once again be transformed into a retail destination filled with booths from local vendors and makers. The market will feature your favorite local businesses and sell finely crafted jewelry, apparel, accessories, art and gift items made by many of our area’s finest local artisans and craftspeople. SOMA Senior Survey

The SOMA 2021 Senior Survey seeks your feedback in several areas such as Programming and Recreation, Transportation, Housing, Health and Wellness, Accessibility, Pedestrian Safety and Walkability, Communications, and your perception of our Towns and SOMA Two Towns for All Ages. We are endeavoring to get the greatest level of return and to reach the broadest breath of our senior community across all neighborhoods and socioeconomic levels.

subject line, include your phone number and preferred days/times for a SHU student to call you. Printed copies are available at both town halls and libraries (Hilton Branch), Maplewood Senior Center, Dehart Center, and the local senior apartment buildings. Completed surveys are confidential and can be returned to either of these locations.

You will get a first-hand look at all the ins and outs of our town and it is a great way to participate and make a difference in the town.
