Repair Cafe, Saturday, October 16th, 1:00 to 4:00 pm
Maplewood Senior Center parking lot, 106 Burnett Avenue, Maplewood

One of SOMA Two Towns for All Ages' most popular community engagement events is our Repair Cafe. For this event, we recruit volunteer local repair experts to lend their talents and skills to fix items for residents that would have been thrown away. Not only does this event promote community connection, it also promotes sustainability helping residents keep beloved items versus tossing them out. To register to have an item repaired for free, please e-mail soma2towns@gmail.com with the subject Repair Cafe. You can also call us at 973-558-0863 to schedule a time. If you would like to share your skills as a repairer with us or volunteer to help out with the event, please contact us at the number and e-mail above.
