Concerts in the Park

Empire- July 14, 7:30 PM; Floods Hill
Assembled in the downtown clubs of lower Manhattan this six piece band features a fully-live sound in a market saturated with backing tracks and auto tune. The Empire is not just a band, it's an experience. With a vast song bank of over 300 songs and highly accomplished musicians, no Empire show is ever the same. Every show is different, every time. High energy from start to finish with state of the art stage production, The Empire is truly "New York's Livest".
Art in the Park
Juliet and Her Romeo- July 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18; Floods Hill
Shakespeare in Our Parks - an experimental adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. The cast is composed of young actors and seasoned professionals following the tradition of Elizabethan acting companies throughout the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.

Farmers Market

Stop by the Sloan Street parking lot every Wednesday from 2 - 7 PM, June through October to pick up your fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, freshly baked breads, nuts, meats, pickles, olives, homemade ice cream, apple cider soul food and so much more. Public Works Events

Container Day- July 17, 8 AM; 300 Walton Ave

South Orange residents are welcome to drop off household bulk items at the Public Works facility between 8 AM and 1:30 PM. Proof of residency is required and no commercial vehicles (U-Haul's/ Home Depot rental vans) are permitted on the property. Electronics, construction material, and hazardous waste will not be accepted at these events.
