Glow Up Project
Art Director Denise Hayden invites residents age 60+ to share 4 photos from different stages of their lives for an art exhibit called “The Glow Up Project.”  Each photo should be from a different age or point in your life, with a note about your memories of the photo or that time in your life.  Photos can be submitted by email to DHayden@twp.Maplewood.nj.us or mailed to Denise Hayden, 574 Valley St, Maplewood, NJ 07040. All photos will be returned once scanned.
  
Sing for Seniors
If you are or know of a SOMA Senior who would like to enjoy some socially-distanced carolling, please email DHayden@twp.Maplewood.NJ.US or call
(973) 558-0863 by December 10.  Carollers will sing at a safe distance, outside, while the senior remains inside their house.

  • There have been many changes in our lives this year due to the pandemic but long-held traditions like Maplewood’s Dickens Village can bring a special joy and peace to us all.  For this reason the Maplewood Village Alliance is pleased to announce a modified version of Dickens Village due to Covid-19 restrictions. Masks and social distancing rules will be observed and monitored at all times so that we can maintain a safe environment.
