Election DayDue to COVID-19, Governor Phil Murphy has signed an Executive Order the 2020 General Election, New Jersey will send a mail-in ballot to all active, registered voters. Ballots can be returned by mail with a postmark on or before November 3, 2020 to be counted as a valid vote if received by 8:00 p.m. on November 10, 2020. Ballots without a postmark that are received within 48 hours of the closing of polls on November 3, 2020 shall be considered valid. The only exceptions to the vote-by-mail requirement will be those who are visually impaired. Specialized voting booths will be at selected locations for individuals who require them in order to vote. On Election Day, The Polls will be open from 6am-8pm. The Following locations will be open: - Districts 3,6,7,8, 13: South Orange Middle School (Gym) - 70 N Ridgewood Rd
- Districts 1, 12: Seton Hall University (Walsh Library)- 400 South Orange Ave
- Districts 2, 10: Marshall School (Gym)- 262 Grove Rd
- Districts 4, 9, 11: First Presbyterian & Trinity Church- 111 Irvington Ave

17th Annual South Orange Maplewood Artists Studio Tour, Covid EditionThe annual South Orange Maplewood Artists Studio Tour, presented by ArtSOMA: The Artist Community of South Orange & Maplewood, NJ and Studio Montclair, Inc., will be held on November 7 and 8, from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm.
