Do you love parks but always want to change one thing about them? Well now is your opportunity!
The Township of South Orange is in the process of making significant improvements in Carter Park, located on College Place off of Irvington Avenue, using funds awarded by the Essex County Open Space Grant. The Open Space Grant will allow us to spend up to $150,000 to improve this park. As part of the process, the town has committed to replacing the fence, upgrading signage, removing the old funnel ball asphalt, and cutting back trees using a portion of the grant money to which we are estimating $40,000. The Seton Village Committee needs your help in determining what you would like to see as far as layout, playground and swing equipment, and more.
