2020 Census Extension

Self-response by residents online, by telephone and by mail has been extended to September 30, 2020. The goal remains to achieve a Complete Count by counting everyone once -- only once -- and in the right place. Please make sure you count yourself at the address where you live and sleep most of the time.
There's even assistance in 13 different languages! You can participate in the Census by going to https://my2020census.gov/ or by clicking the graphic to the left.

Branch Pickup

On Tuesday, August 18, branches four inches or smaller in diameter will be collected for residents that made an appointment with the DPW. Branches should be bundled with twine and placed curbside. No other yard waste or debris will be collected at this time.

Talking to Children About Racism: Breaking the Cycle

Join the CCR on Tuesday, August 18 at 7 PM for a virtual discussion with Dr. Diane Hughes as she shares information and raises questions about how families can talk about race.

Is it possible to break the cycles of bias and violence by talking to children at home?
How much should parents discuss current racial events with their children?
How can parents talk to their children in ways that help dismantle systemic racial injustices?
