2026 General Election- Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026

2026 General Election is Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026 from 6:00 am-8:00 pm. Please check your sample ballot to locate your voting district and polling location or access your polling location site by clicking HERE.  Polling locations are listed by district number at the bottom of this page.

The Village Clerk's Office will be open from 4:30pm-9pm. This will be the last day to register to vote in the General Election to be held on November 3rd, 2026. Application Forms for New Registration, Change of Address, Name Change and Vote by Mail application will be available.

Early Voting Period: October 24th-November 1st 

Locations will be posted once announced by the Essex County Board of Elections.

Anyone Can Vote By Mail!

To get a Vote by Mail application, you may download it HERE, or pick one up in person from the Village Clerk's Office. Completed applications should be mailed directly to the Essex County Clerk's Office.

FFDBE0312Once Vote by Mail ballots are completed, they may be placed in in the Essex County Vote by Mail Drop Box right under the Gazebo at 56 Sloan Street. There are two free designated voter parking spaces, or mailed to the mail to the Essex County Clerk. If you choose to use the Drop Box, Vote By Mail Ballots are regularly picked up Essex County officials. Most importantly the Drop Box is under video surveillance.
