Nowadays, it’s especially exciting to have a good book to read. For Black History Month, Janine and Ahadi – lovers of diverse children’s books – decided to share some answers to one of their favorite questions: “Can you recommend a book with a black character or about a black leader?” Their answer is always, “Yes!”
Janine and Ahadi hope that you will find a new title that interests you and your family. Each week they will add a new list with a different theme. You can check out many of these books from our SOMa libraries by going inside or using a curbside pickup. Please wear your masks and enjoy!
