
Due to COVID-19, Governor Phil Murphy has signed an Executive Order the 2020 General Election, New Jersey will send a mail-in ballot to all active, registered voters.
When your ballot arrives, read it carefully and follow the instructions to complete and return it.
Ballots can be returned by mail with a postmark on or before November 3, 2020 to be counted as a valid vote if received by 8:00 p.m. on November 10, 2020. Ballots without a postmark that are received within 48 hours of the closing of polls on November 3, 2020 shall be considered valid.
If you are mailing or presenting a vote by mail ballot on behalf of someone else; please read this important notice.
The County Clerk cannot accept faxed or e-mailed copies of the Vote by Mail Application (unless you are an overseas voter).
The only exceptions to the vote-by-mail requirement will be those who are visually impaired. Specialized voting booths will be at selected locations for individuals who require them in order to vote.
