Village Government Treasurer's office

The Village Treasurer has the primary responsibility for the general financial activity in the Village which includes the receipt of all funds, the safekeeping and disbursement of all funds made pursuant to the order of the Board of Trustees, the accurate accounting of receipts and disbursements and the reporting thereof to the Board of Trustees, insuring proper investment of Village monies, preparing the payroll and the annual budget and assisting in the preparation of bond issues. In addition to financial record keeping, the Treasurer's office provides financial advice to employees regarding pension plans, retirement and deferred compensation and maintains health benefit records and workers' compensation claims.
