PARKING PERMITS (Please click on the link to view the location of the specific lot)

I: Commuter Permits: These permits are available to residents of South Orange who commute on a daily basis. These permits are blue in color and are valid in "Third St. - Lot #7 and Second St. - Lot 3A" (Combination commuter/business). They are available in the following manner:

All residents must provide proof of residency when purchasing a new permit.

II: Business Daytime Permits: These permits are available to South Orange business owners and their employees who work in town. When applying for a new permit all employees must provide an affidavit from their employer certifying their employment. These permits are green in color and are valid in the following lots:
	Library - Lot #2 First St. - Lot #3 Second St. - Lot #3A Village Hall - Lot #4	Hand Lot - #5 West S. Orange Ave - Lot #6 Irvington Ave. - Lot #8

Business permits are available as:

III: Resident Day Permits:
These permits are available to residents who live in apartments with no available parking. All residents purchasing such a permit must provide proof of residency or an affidavit signed by the landlord/manager. These permits are the same in color and price as the Business Day Permits. They are valid for the same lots as Business Day Permits.

IV: Resident/Business Night Permits: These permits are available to residents in apartments with no parking and to business owners/employees who work at night in South Orange (bakers, post office workers, etc..). These permits are black in color and are valid in the following lots:
	Library - Lot #2 First St. - Lot #3 Village Hall - Lot #4 Hand Lot - #5	West S. Orange Ave - Lot #6 Third St. - Lot #7 Irvington Ave. - Lot #8

The Resident/Business Night Permits are sold as follows:

Permits may be purchased in person from the Parking Authority offices, located at 101 South Orange Avenue, Village Hall, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You may also mail your completed applications. Include your check and a self-addressed, stamped envelope. For further information, call the Parking Authority office at 378-7715, Ext. 2037.
