Welcome to the Township of South Orange Village and the South Orange Parking Authority. The following will provide you with a summary of requirements and a map to assist you in navigating the parking in South Orange. Additional information is available in our offices.
      The South Orange Parking Authority is an independent Authority, established in 1979. We are responsible for the enforcement and operation of the municipal parking lots, metered spaces, overnight on-street parking, commuter shuttle jitney buses and Senior bus services. Its operations are funded by permit and meter revenues. The Parking Authority Board of Commissioners meet on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:15pm in Village Hall, unless otherwise advertised.
      Permits may be purchased in person at the Parking Authority offices in Village Hall, second floor, between 8:30am and 4:30pm, Monday thru Friday. Certain permits and renewals may be handled by mail, if the application is accompanied by photocopies of the necessary documents and a check or money order.
