Advertising space is available in South Orange’s bi-monthly newsletter, The South Orange Gaslight, for local commercial and public interest organizations. The Gaslight is delivered to every postal customer in South Orange's 07079 ZIP Code – making it the ideal medium for reaching 7,200 mailboxes for a very low price.

Advertising Rates

Advertising is offered for two to six issues, and is sold in “Advertising Unit” increments measuring 1/20 of an 8.5” x 11” page (i.e., 20 units per page). Units may be purchased and combined in any rectangular pattern that an advertiser prefers, from 1/20 of a page up to a full page. See Unit Illustration.
Multi-issue discounts apply to pre-paid, advertising commitments.

Single insertion commitments are not accepted.

Add-on Rate
Advertisers may extend their initial contract and receive a discounted rate for sequential pre-paid add-on  advertising commitments (i.e., not for previous advertising commitments):

Add-on advertising commitments must be:

• For advertising placed in sequential editions without interruption.
• Made 14 calendar days prior to the Advertising Deadline.  See Add-on Deadlines, below.

Contract & Payment

A completed and signed South Orange Gaslight Advertising Agreement must be returned prior to the Advertising Deadline (or Add-on Deadline for add-on commitments), below, for the first issue of each Advertising Agreement.
Full payment, by check or money order, made payable to Township of South Orange Village, must be included with a completed and signed agreement, and returned to:

Advertising Policy
Advertising space is offered in “The South Orange Gaslight” newsletter for commercial and public interest advertisements solely for the benefit of South Orange businesses, non-profit organizations, and residents. The Township of South Orange Village (“Township”) reserves the right to reject any advertisement which is deemed obscene, offensive, misleading, or is in any way inconsistent with this policy. Advertising space may be limited and the Township reserves the right to select advertisements for optimum space utilization. Space will be reserved for advertisements for consecutive placement not exceeding 12 consecutive months.
