Seasonal and H1N1 Flu vaccine update:

The Village's second order of Seasonal Flu vaccine is on back order. If and when we receive these doses it will be advertised on this website and the News Record.

The New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services (NJDHSS) have the following initial target groups for the H1N1 vaccine:

  • Persons 25 through 64 with health conditions (asthma, diabetes, lung disease, or heart disease)
  • Household contacts and caregivers for children younger than 6 months old
  • Children from 6 months through 24 years old
    • Children from 6 mos to 9 years require 2 shots at different dosages
  • Healthcare and Emergency medical services personnel.
  • Pregnant women (The Village has not received vaccines for this group)
There is no fee or residency requirement for this vaccine.

The NJDHSS will decide when The Village can offer the H1N1 vaccine to the other non-target populations, such as 25-64 without health conditions and over 65 populations.
